| The perfect choice for applications when heat may be needed regardless of outdoor temperature. These units provide cooling or heating at the turn of a dial. When the unit is set for HEAT, a thermostat cycles the heating element on and off to help maintain a constant room temperature.
Like all Comfort-Aire room air conditioners, these Power-Aire models meet or exceed minimum EER requirements. Two cooling and two heating fan speeds offer more cooling/heating control and quieter operation, further enhanced by the insulated plenum that absorbs sounds. Controls also offer a fan-only setting
These models are made of painted, galvanized steel and have a cathodic electro-deposition paint application for protection against corrosion. They feature a stone white decorator front with front-mounted, removable filter and slide-out chassis. In addition all models feature a protective rear grille. The REG-243 comes with electronic controls and a full-function remote.
